Back in the ‘blogosphere’
After all the hard work of getting my Edinburgh house on the market, selling, packing up, moving south to England and setting up again, it is time to start posting here again – high time in fact. When life is very busy and full of challenges it would be good to blog and share learnings, but that’s exactly what I haven’t been doing :-(
I have been putting my energy into settling in Stroud in Gloucestershire, into a very nice house where I’ll be over the winter while I get to know the area all over again. I lived here years ago, but not so long ago that nobody remembers me, because they do, and it is very nice rekindling old friendships as well as embarking on new ones. As it’s a much smaller community than my capital city life in Edinburgh (still my favourite big city) the odds of bumping into folk I know is much greater :-)
So what are my learnings right now?
- Take your time
- Let things evolve
- Take good care of yourself
- Get organised at home – especially when you work from home
- Take time in nature, exploring, appreciating allowing nature to strengthen you
- Give time to good conversations
- Reassess what you are up to and prepare to get on with it.
Perhaps they are useful learnings whatever changes you are going through.
And what am I up to? Preparing to take on some new personal and professional coaching clients. Getting everything organised for completing my Raw Recipe book – with a self-imposed end of year deadline. Sometimes it feels as if I am asking a lot of myself, but there’s much to be said in favour of MASSIVE goals – read what David Hyner has to say in Good Question!
And do sign up for my newsletter to find the special personal, professional and wellness/food coaching offers I am making and other good things.
